Phileas has a great reputation for innovation in the balloon industry and has taught at prestigious conventions such as WBC, Twist and Shout, OzJam, and Millennium Jam. His best-selling DVD series, "The Face of Things to Come" is widely regarded as a huge influence in advancing the art form of balloon twisting.

Twisted Inflations, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada Derek began his journey as a hobby twister in 2011, after viewing a clown twisting balloons at a party. In 2013, he formed his balloon business, Twisted Inflations, and he started balloon twisting and decor for parties and events. Derek has won numerous awards in various balloon conventions and competitions, and he has been invited to share his passion and knowledge in balloons for multiple workshops in Canada, USA and Europe.

The Party’s Here, Sydney, Australia After joining the balloon industry more than 14 years ago, Claire has made it a priority to support as many training days and conventions as possible. As result, The Party’s Here has become an integral part of the local community and recently relocated to a larger shop front in 2014. Her efforts have not gone unnoticed, as she was awarded the Treb Heining Pioneer Visionary Scholarship to attend the World Balloon Convention in New Orleans in 2016. As an active participant in the industry, Claire is eager to share her passion and experience with others.

Shivoo Balloons, Victoria, Australia Over the span of her 16 years in the industry, Tina has grown her balloon business from a modest little decorating business that only worked on small private parties, to dealing with large scale functions and corporate events. As an award-wining designer, she has become known as a valuable resource for education. Since starting her business in 2009, Nicole has used her knack for creating eye-catching designs with speed and attention to detail to win awards and become a sought-after international instructor.
Matt Russell, CBA
Twisted Mr, Queensland, Australia Matt began his balloon journey working in the party section of a craft and homewares store creating basic balloon decor items. He decided to start his own business after attending Balloonstitute in 2010, having found balloon twisting and a new passion. He is now a very sought after balloon artist, appearing at kids' parties, weddings, corporate events, markets, and festivals. Since teaching at OzJam in 2012, Matt has been a frequently requested instructor and is highly regarded in the industry for his passion and commitment to the industry while helping others improve their skills and knowledge to grow their businesses.
